JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
To extract samples in preparation for analysis by GC/MS, HPLC, IC etc
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MAIN DUTIES
- Routine air and biological sample preparation as determined by training record.
- Calibration and operation of equipment as defined by training record.
- Maintaining stocks of reagents and equipment.
- Understand and follow procedures provided, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 (UKAS) and the internal Quality Management System.
- Work as a team and maintaining morale and actively offer help and assistance wherever possible.
- Responsible for keeping safety at the forefront of lab work and being proactive ensuring accidents and near misses are always reported straightaway to Managers in line with our company accreditation and policy.
- When required, assist with on-site training of new employees providing proactive support ensuring there onboarding into the company is friendly, engaging and inspiring.
