  Participate in field surveys, energy assessments and data collection to inform system design and optimization
• 
  Participate in the installation and integration of hybrid energy grids.
• 
  Conduct site preparation activities before installations – marking out, excavation, setting out of solar structures, mapping and pegging of powerline routes etc.
• 
  Assist in preparing system layouts with CAD
• 
  Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on smart grid systems.
• 
  Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• 
  Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• 
  Document work performed and system statuses.
• 
  Monitor and support the balancing of energy grid flows using the ESIOS
• 
  Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
