Job Description

This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong troubleshooting capability, and the ability to coach and mentor junior technicians. The Technician 6 works closely with engineers to support process optimization, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced manufacturing operations including equipment setup, calibration, adjustment, and repair.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment, process, and product issues; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with engineers on experiments, process changes, and improvement activities.
• Analyze production and equipment data to support yield, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Lead or support qualification activities for new tools, processes, or products.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on‑the‑job training to junior technicians.
• Support rework, quality testing, and validation of parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, EHS, and operational procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and problem‑solving initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven capability to coach and mentor other technicians.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Strong awareness of quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
