The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring optimal equipment utilization through immediate repair and maintenance. This position involves analyzing equipment issues, recommending solutions, and collaborating with engineers and other support groups to address equipment and hardware problems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, be results-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Computer literacy and experience in the repair and troubleshooting of electronic components and/or equipment are advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting to identify the root cause of issues.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to resolve equipment problems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing support groups to implement equipment improvement activities.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to standard operating procedures while performing equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
