Job Purpose: This position is responsible for transforming complex operational, clinical, and strategic information into clear, professional documentation. This role serves as a central resource for the organization, supporting Shared Services (HR, Finance, Legal, MarComm) and Programs by creating and maintaining the foundational documents that drive our mission. You will play a critical role in documenting process redesigns and ensuring that all organizational content reflects our commitment to modernizing cultural competency, accessibility, and neurodiversity.

Standardize and maintain the organizational policy library to ensure alignment with regulatory changes, accreditation standards, and risk mitigation.
Capture step-by-step workflows and work instructions using tools like TangoAI to ensure operational clarity and consistency.
Assist the CSOO in drafting and refining strategy documents that define agency programs, capabilities, and long-term goals.
Draft and update the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and safety protocols to ensure organizational resilience and client safety.
Develop frameworks for template formatting, version control, and standardized terminology across all business units.
Collaborate with internal teams to conduct interviews and research to gain an in-depth understanding of interdependent work tasks.
Synthesize data on funding updates and grant releases to produce high-quality reports and competitive proposals.
Support RFP initiatives and government relations by drafting external communications regarding community needs and advocacy
Draft documentation for contract compliance, EEOC requirements, and legal affairs, including tracking outsourced work.
Translate operational KPIs and strategic measures into comprehensive narrative reports for executive leadership.
QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or
Technical Communications. Comparable experience may be substituted.
Minimum Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical or training documentation writing

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Technical Writing & Documentation: Expertise in drafting complex policies, work orders, and technical workflows that are easy for diverse audiences to digest.
Regulatory & Risk Acumen: Strong understanding of compliance, accreditation standards, and risk management protocols (e.g., HR misconduct, BCP).
Data Synthesis: Ability to translate raw data, operational KPIs, and funding updates into persuasive reports and strategic documents.
Collaborative Research: Skilled at interviewing subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to extract process details and business requirements.
Systems Proficiency: Advanced ability to leverage documentation tools (e.g., TangoAI, process maps) and maintain digital document management systems.
