  • Review engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures, and technical source material to create accurate, well-structured documents.
  • Apply established technical writing standards and customer-specific guidance, including technical manual standards such as MD Customer DS-89
  • Track document status, routing, and approvals while coordinating with action officers and stakeholders throughout the review process.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation in support of complex programs
  • Proficiency with documentation and presentation tools, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to research, interpret, and synthesize complex technical information into clear, readable documentation
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with government documentation standards, review cycles, and approval processes
  • Experience developing documentation for technical, engineering, or operational environments
