  • Edit for clarity, consistency, formatting, grammar, and completeness to ensure documents meet internal standards.
  • Organize and maintain controlled documents in accordance with quality system and document control requirements.
  • Help improve documentation workflows, templates, and standards to make future authoring more efficient.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience writing or editing technical documents in a manufacturing, engineering, biotech, or medical device environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand technical intent.

  • Comfortable working with engineers and translating technical input into clear written materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other standard business tools.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple documents or requests at once.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience drafting equipment specifications, work instructions, or test methods.
  • Familiarity with document control systems or quality management systems.
  • Background as a manufacturing engineer with strong technical writing ability.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, diagnostics, or biotechnology.
  • Comfort working from templates and building polished documents quickly.
