Job Title: Technical Writer
Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling. Sandvik is now looking for an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to be located at our design center in Bangalore, India .
Sound knowledge of Mechanical components, Selection criteria, Significance of its characteristics and parameters. Candidate should have good understanding of Mechanical systems/Hydraulic systems component selection. Responsible for Technical writing for Upgrades manuals / Installation manuals using Adobe illustrator, framemaker/CMS and Documoto knowledge is must. Responsible for Illustration using NX, 3DS max, Key Shot and Planner creation for aftermarket offering. Responsible for Modelling/detailing of components and assemblies in UG/NX Responsible for various types of components, subsystem data quality in Teamcenter and allied systems. Document work for process improvements.
Required Skills
Should be able to Create Installation, Upgrades and Other offering manuals / planners Should be able to generate and update illustrations. Should have exposure to Teamcenter integrated environment. Fair understanding on working principle for various Mechanical components like Engine, Transmission components, Compressor, Basic mechanical elements etc. This position requires an experienced person who has around 3-5 years of relevant experience. Basic Knowledge of mobile machinery, Hydraulic Components, is seen as a benefit. Needs to understand the functionalities between the Mechanical components / systems. Knowledge of Engineering change process. Good communication skill & Interpersonal Skills. Good ability to work within the team.
Qulification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical engineering is required.
