Job Description

Who We Are:

Every industry has a moment when technology finally catches up to the people doing the work.

We are building that moment for legal.

Neostella creates connected legal technology that brings together the data, workflows, and systems legal teams rely on every day.

Our platform helps firms move faster, collaborate more effectively, and focus on delivering stronger outcomes for their clients.

We believe the legal industry deserves more from its technology. That belief drives us to challenge the status quo and build systems designed for the way modern teams actually work.

We build with courage and measure our work by the impact it creates for our customers.

Recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in the Americas for 2026, we are growing with people who want their work to matter.

If you want to build software that changes how an industry operates, you belong here. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team!

Why this role matters right now:

Neostella is scaling fast. As our platform evolves and our customer base grows, the need for clear, structured, and high-quality documentation has become critical. Our products are powerful—but their impact depends on how well users understand and adopt them.

This role exists because documentation is a key driver of product adoption, operational efficiency, and customer success. The Technical Writer will ensure that complex systems, workflows, and features are translated into clear, user-friendly content that empowers both internal teams and customers to succeed.

What you’ll manage:

We’re looking for a Technical Writer who will own the creation, organization, and continuous improvement of Neostella’s documentation ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality content across help centers, SOPs, workflows, release notes, and training materials.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Support, CX, QA, and Training teams to ensure documentation aligns with product functionality and business goals. This role requires both strong writing skills and technical understanding—someone who can interpret system behavior, identify gaps, and deliver content that is both accurate and actionable.

Beyond writing, you will help build scalable documentation frameworks, improve content usability, and ensure our documentation evolves alongside the product.

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who is both analytical and detail-oriented, with a passion for making complex information easy to understand. You thrive in fast-paced environments and take ownership of your work from research through publication and optimization.

You are comfortable working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, asking the right questions, and turning ambiguity into clarity. You bring structure to content, continuously look for ways to improve it, and understand the role documentation plays in delivering a strong customer experience.

Curious what your day would look like as a Technical Writer? Check out the details below!

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll own documentation strategy, creation, and optimization across Neostella’s platform:

  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation including user guides, help center articles, SOPs, workflows, FAQs, and release notes
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate content
  • Develop structured and standardized documentation aligned with branding and usability best practices
  • Build role-based and competency-based documentation and learning frameworks
  • Interpret technical requirements such as user stories, mockups, and system specifications
  • Develop a strong understanding of frontend and backend system functionality
  • Apply SDLC knowledge to accurately document features and workflows
  • Identify inconsistencies, edge cases, and gaps, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Conduct research to gather and validate information across teams and systems
  • Analyze user feedback and content performance metrics to improve documentation effectiveness
  • Continuously optimize content based on product updates and user needs
  • Lead and participate in discovery sessions with Product, Engineering, CX, and QA teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between documentation, product goals, and business objectives
  • Manage and publish content using CMS and help center platforms
  • Maintain documentation structure, version control, and publishing workflows
  • Create supporting multimedia content such as videos, diagrams, and tutorials when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in SaaS or technology environments
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software systems (integrations, workflows, APIs is a plus)
  • Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, user-focused content for diverse audiences
  • Experience with structured writing, documentation frameworks, and content standardization
  • Proficiency with documentation tools (Google Docs, Zendesk, Confluence, CMS platforms)
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, or similar project management tools
  • Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience analyzing content performance and driving continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ or higher) and Spanish

Benefits

*All resumes and application answers must be in English

About Neostella

Neostella | The Future Rises With You

Neostella builds enterprise case management software for modern legal teams who need clarity, control, and connection across every part of their work. We’ve evolved into a software-only company with one mission: to take complexity off the shoulders of the professionals who carry so much, for so many.

Our Connected Case Platform unifies operations, insights, and communications so firms can work faster, collaborate effortlessly, and scale without limitations.

Built from the ground up, Neostella gives legal teams the freedom to adapt workflows, automate intelligently, and integrate the tools they rely on without ever being boxed in. With a truly open API, we believe your software should connect to your reality, not force you to change it.

Today, we serve enterprise firms and high-volume legal teams in mass tort, personal injury, veterans’ benefits, immigration, and more—areas of law where precision matters, deadlines define success, and connected work drives outcomes. These are teams who rise for their clients every day. It’s time their software rose for them.

Neostella. When complexity ends, possibility begins.
