Job Description

At JFrog, we’re reinventing DevSecOps to help the world’s greatest companies innovate -- and security is a core part of our mission. Our team of industry-leading software security experts are true pioneers, constantly pushing the boundaries with original research and technology innovation. JFrog is a special place with a unique combination of brilliance, spirit, and just all-around great people. Thousands of customers, including the majority of the Fortune 100, trust JFrog to manage, accelerate, and secure their software delivery from code to production -- a concept we call “liquid software.” Wouldn't it be amazing if you could join us in our journey?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and technical Technical Writer to join our Security core writing team in Israel. You won't just be "writing manuals" you will be integrated into our development lifecycle, using the same tools as our engineers to document industry-leading security solutions.

As a Technical Writer at JFrog you will…
  • Own the Docs-as-Code Workflow: Manage content directly via GitHub, utilizing Cursor and Markdown to maintain high-quality documentation
  • Understand Branching & Versioning: Handle complex documentation releases by navigating branching strategies and managing pull requests
  • Collaborate: Work closely with Security Researchers, PMs, and Developers to extract technical requirements and turn them into clear, actionable guides
  • Know the User: Ensure content is persona-driven (Developer, SecOps, CISO) and focuses on solving security challenges, not just describing UI buttons
  • Influence UX: Participate in usability efforts, writing microcopy and providing feedback on UI/UX to ensure a seamless product experience
To be a Technical Writer at JFrog you need…
  • Experience: 3-5 years as a Technical Writer in an enterprise software environment (Security or DevOps background is a major plus)
  • Git Proficiency: Solid understanding of GitHub workflows, including branching, merging, and PR management
  • Modern Tooling: High proficiency in Markdown (MD) and YAML. Familiarity with Cursor or VS Code as an editor
  • API Documentation: Experience documenting REST APIs (OpenAPI 3.0/Swagger)
  • Native-level English: Exceptional ability to structure complex information into clear, concise, and professional English
  • Independence: A "Rosh Gadol" who proactively hunts for information, solves blockers independently, and takes full ownership of their domain
  • Familiarity with the JFrog Platform or DevSecOps ecosystems and security concepts (CVEs, SCA, Secrets Detection)
  • Experience with ReadMe.com or similar documentation hosting platforms
  • Hands-on experience with CLI and basic scripting
