Job Description

TECHNICAL WRITER:

Key Responsibilities:

● Prepare user manuals, release notes, training manuals, installation guides and presentations.

● Release installation guides.

● Responsible for end-to-end creation, development, coordination, execution, publishing, and ongoing updating of a range of Hotelogix technical documents.

● Maintains extensive product knowledge through ongoing discussions with all product teams, participation in demos, training videos, etc.

● Shares technical documentation needs with the Product - Documentation Specialist to document and track all deliverables and writing needs of all product teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

● Technical Writing Skills

● Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)/BRDs

● Written fluency in English with tailoring of writing to internal and client-facing audiences

● Highly organized with attention to detail/consistency

● Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint & Visio

● Proficiency in Snagit or other image capturing/editing tools

● Should know how to make videos

● API Knowledge

● E-learning authoring tools such as Articulate

● Candidate with technical background
