This technical writing role transforms complex data and information for automation & robotics into high‑quality, technical information that supports both human learning and AI-based applications. Working closely with engineer and product teams, the position delivers audience‑specific, globally aligned content that strengthens product understanding, reduces support costs, and accelerates knowledge transfer across the organization. Positioned within the technical training and documentation function, this role contributes directly to the company’s digital‑content strategy and offers career growth toward content strategy or knowledge management.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $57,375 - $84,150 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in this Role:

  • Create,maintain& distribute technical information

  • Assemble (and provide) content as audience-specific deliverables within requirements,brandingand language frameworks

  • Translate or localize content within standards scope / requirements

  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and information architects tovalidatecontent, resolve gaps, and ensure quality across outputs

What We are Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of Technical Writing experience

  • Clear, concise technical writing and editing skills

  • Familiarity with structured content tools or willingness to learn

  • Attention to detail and consistency in terminology and formatting

  • Collaboration and communication withcrossfunctionalteams

  • Experience in crafting technical or product documentation from engineering data or SME input within automotive, robotics or other engineering & software development environments

  • Handson experience using authoring or content management tools

  • Experience collaborating with engineers orcrossfunctionalteams to capture andvalidateinformation

  • Exposure to global content needs, including translation or localization workflows

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Engineering, or a relatedfield,equivalent experience may be substituted.

  • Foundational knowledge of technical writing principles or structured content practices through coursework, internships, or professional experience.

  • Certification in technical communication or content development

  • Physical requirements (i.e.must be able to safely enter and move around production facilities)

  • This is a global role which requires collaboration with engineers in North America,APACand EMEA regions
