BMA is seeking a Technical Writer- IT to join our team. This is a remote position.
The Technical Writer - IT is a senior proposal professional responsible for developing compelling, compliant, and technically accurate proposal content in support of DoD and Federal Enterprise IT, systems integration, and technical services opportunities. This role bridges capture strategy, solution architecture, and proposal execution—translating complex technical approaches into clear, persuasive narratives that directly align to solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
The Technical Writer - IT supports the company’s proposal development lifecycle by transforming complex Enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and technical integration concepts into clear, compelling, and compliant proposal content. This role partners with solution architects, engineers, program managers, and capture teams to develop technical narratives, discriminators, staffing approaches, past performance write ups, and graphics that accurately reflect the company’s capabilities and meet DoD solicitation requirements. The Technical Writer ensures all proposal content is technically sound, compliant with Section L/M, and aligned with customer mission needs across enterprise scale IT environments.
The Technical Writer - IT is a core member of proposal teams, supporting pursuits across IDIQs, task orders, and standalone competitions. This position requires hands-on technical writing experience addressing Enterprise IT modernization, cloud/hybrid environments, cybersecurity, application development, and system integration—while maintaining strict compliance with RFP instructions, Section L/M, and customer priorities.
