If you are a forward-thinker and interested in learning more about working in the elevator industry, then keep reading! We are searching for a student or recent graduate to join our GAL Canada team at Vantage Elevation for a fixed term co-op or summer position.
The Technical Warehouse Associate position is designed to provide a hands-on learning opportunity for individuals currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, with a focus on engineering, mechanical disciplines, technical trades, or supply chain. This position supports day-to-day warehouse operations and basic technical activities, while offering exposure to equipment, tools, and operational workflows. The role aims to build foundational skills, practical experience, and a strong understanding of workplace safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled, or a recent graduate, in a post-secondary program (preferred fields: engineering, mechanical, technical trades (elevating device mechanic 636E), or supply chain)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical work (lifting, moving materials, standing for extended periods)
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse & Operations Support
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Support inventory counts and stock replenishment activities
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (as trained)
Technical Support
- Assist with equipment setup, basic assembly, and preparation for delivery
- Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on equipment
- Support minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervision
- Help track and organize tools, parts, and technical documentation
- Assist with preparing units for demos, shipping, or customer use
Position Details
- Co-op or Summer position (full-time – fixed term)
- Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm
- Based in Mississauga, ON
- $20-24/hr
