We are currently looking for a Technical Umbraco Consultant to join our dedicated support and maintenance team. In this role, you will ensure the stability, security, and continuous evolution of a high-profile web solution for a professional association. You will work under Smile’s project management, leveraging the infrastructure expertise of Alter Way (a Smile company) within a modern, containerized Linux environment.

🏗️ Your Mission: Stability & Evolution

As our technical expert, you won't just "fix" things; you will be the guardian of the platform's performance and reliability.

  • CMS Maintenance & Upgrades: Manage minor configurations and content models. You’ll be responsible for applying security patches and upgrades (Umbraco v13+) to keep the platform at the cutting edge.

  • Linux Container Operations: Oversee the application within a Docker-based, Ubuntu environment.

  • Identity & Access Management: Maintain the integration with legacy Azure AD (Entra ID) using OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect for secure SSO.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the primary lead for resolving back-end configuration issues (environment variables) and ensuring application stability.

  • Front-End Excellence: Implement UI/UX adjustments, fix search UI issues, and enhance accessibility.

  • Application Services: Manage outbound email delivery integrations (e.g., SMTP2GO) and monitor performance using tools like Application Insights

  • Technical Mastery: * Extensive experience with Umbraco CMS (v13+ preferred for Linux compatibility).

    • Proven capability in managing NET applications within Linux/Docker containers.

    • Solid understanding of Azure AD & RBAC / OAuth

    • Familiarity with high security standards: TLS 1.3, AES-256, and GDPR compliance.

  • Soft Skills: You are a disciplined communicator capable of maintaining up-to-date documentation and code repositories for seamless transitions.

  • Responsiveness: You understand the stakes of a P1 incident and are committed to a response time of 4 business hours (08:00–18:00 CET).
