As a Technical Training Systems Coordinator, you will support StandardAero's training systems, employee qualification records, training matrices, and OJT (On-The-Job Training) processes across locations. This role helps ensure training and qualification information is accurate, current, and meets company, Quality, regulatory, and operational requirements. The Coordinator works with site teams and Technical Training to maintain records, resolve issues, support system updates, and improve training processes.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain employee training, qualification, competency, and authorization records in approved systems.
  • Maintain and update training, qualification, skills, and job-function matrices.
  • Monitor records for accuracy, completion, and expiration; identify and follow up on gaps.
  • Support OJT and qualification processes, including task assignments, trainer/evaluator information, employee progress, and records.
  • Provide support to sites with training records, matrices, documentation, and system questions.
  • Help sites transition from spreadsheets, paper records, or local processes to approved training systems.
  • Support testing and implementation of system updates and new training processes.
  • Create basic reports and metrics related to training completion, qualifications, OJT, and workforce readiness.
  • Identify data or process issues and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain standardized training documentation, records, and version control.
  • Support internal, customer, Quality, and regulatory reviews by ensuring training records are complete and available.
  • Support Technical Training projects and travel to StandardAero locations as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2+ years experience maintaining employee training records, qualification records, skills matrices, or similar information.
  • Basic understanding of OJT, employee qualification, and recurrent training.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to identify data errors, missing information, and expiring qualifications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, databases, and business software.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul, or another technical environment.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), qualification management system, or similar training system.
  • Experience supporting technical training or employee qualification in an aviation or aerospace maintenance environment.
  • Experience with training reports, data analysis, or process improvement.
  • Experience working with multiple sites or locations.
  • Familiarity with competency-based training or qualification processes.
  • Knowledge of aviation training, Quality, regulatory, or recordkeeping requirements.
