Job Description

Job Location: Corporate HeadQuarters - Pendergrass, GA 30567The Technical Training Supervisor will play a key role in creation of the culture, capability, and team effectiveness of this facility and will be a key enabler of successful growth. The training supervisor will be responsible for the assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of cost-effective learning and development solutions designed to enhance trainer capability and effectiveness, instill and enhance a high-performance workplace culture, improve employee retention, and support global training objectives. The training supervisor will oversee the technical training team and report directly to NSM.
Responsibilities:
Review service training needs and continually assess trainer skills to create improvement paths and objectives. Create and implement training strategies to ensure consistency between trainers and content. Develop, lead and oversee, directly, a team of technical trainers. Accountable for the facilitation of hands-on training and certification, ensuring they are delivered at a high level of quality. Create and maintain standard training procedures to ensure optimal execution and delivery of service training. Coordinate improvements to current LMS training content with ILT training in mind.

- Expertise in the service training industry
- Knowledge of web-based training.
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality
- Computer skills and knowledge of collaboration tools
- Demonstrable mechanical aptitude.
- Professional or technical training in mechanics is a plus.
- Ability to work well with others and handle difficult situations in a professional manner.
- Working knowledge of machines, diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- The ability to analyze major mechanical components to determine causal failures is a major plus.
- Proficiency in computers and basic understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
- Capability to execute and complete required tasks with little or no supervision.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated record of success with qualified supporting references.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
