Salary Range: $95,000–$110,000 CAD

Our client is seeking an experienced and energetic Technical Training Specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for its hydronic boiler and domestic water heating product lines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating training programs designed primarily for field service and start-up technicians, with the goal of preparing and certifying technicians in the proper start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of equipment.

This position is well suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, hands-on industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop a growing technical training program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive technical training programs, course materials, and supporting resources.
• Create training content focused on equipment start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service.
• Support the sales team with technical product training as required.
• Conduct technical training sessions at client sites.
• Deliver online training webinars and virtual learning sessions.
• Facilitate in-person classroom training for technicians and other participants.
• Continuously evaluate and improve training materials and delivery methods.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong understanding of hydronic boilers and domestic water heaters.
• Experience developing and implementing technical training programs.
• Previous experience conducting formal technical or classroom training.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with standard business software, including word processing, publishing, and PowerPoint.
• Video production or instructional video development experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to individuals with varying levels of experience.

Additional Requirements

• Fluency in English is required.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally as required.
• Flexibility to conduct training at customer/client locations.

Education & Certifications

• Post-secondary education is preferred; equivalent relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• G1 Gas Technician licence is preferred.
