Your future role
To assist the Training and Competency Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that staff working on projects are trained and competent to carry out their tasks and responsibilities in line with current legislation and industry standards. To ensure that training and assessments are carried out with minimum disruption to production and that relevant documentation and systems are maintained and kept up to date.

The role is based around a flexible work pattern, mostly on dayshift, although nightshifts and out of hours working will be required. Trainer Assessors are based at one or two sites, but work as a team and are expected to attend any site within the UK, when required.

The role of Trainer Assessor is a pivotal position within Alstom and requires a capable individual who is confident in managing their own workload and communicating with all levels of employee, from shop floor to senior management. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and capable of working within a team and on their own, flexibility is a core requirement.
