Standard Job Description

Plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. May administer tests. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. May include military trainers.

Basic Qualifications

• Formal technical‑training background in manufacturing disciplines (e.g., J‑STD‑001 soldering, harness/cable assembly, powered industrial trucks, lifts, etc.), with demonstrated experience certifying personnel at the entry‑to‑intermediate skill levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness and ability to travel to meet training delivery requirements.
• Flexibility to work alternative shifts when needed.

Desired Skills

• Proven project‑management and organizational abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial‑skill domains and hands‑on experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA and ESH regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience designing performance‑based curricula.
• Hands‑on experience with learning management systems.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
