Responsibilities:
• Plan, document, and lead new employee training to include station by station assembly training, safety, and classroom training on proper use of equipment.
• Create and maintain a detailed schedule for employee training with the expectation that each employee is trained on a new station once per month.
• Create and update detailed training matrix for new and current employees to identify training gaps in different processes.
• Conduct classroom training in conjunction with EHS, HR, and manufacturing to understand policies regarding safety, compliance, proper etiquette, etc.
• Collaborate with plant floor leaders to identify shopfloor training needs.
• Ensure any new and old production line processes are communicated and trained to all necessary employees.
• Audit assembly lines and implement process improvements to ensure employees are trained on the processes they are performing.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or another related field required.
Years of Experience: PII: 3 or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting required.
PIII: 6 or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting required; experience conducting training programs preferred.
Software Knowledge: MS Office, Six Sigma required.
