Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing production processes within Nokia's manufacturing operations. You'll engage in hands-on tasks, from training line operators to executing quality controls and driving continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizens. Your contributions will directly impact product efficiency and quality, fostering a sense of accomplishment.

  • Oversee the qualification process for personnel in SMT, Filter, RFM Assembly, MC & Repair lines.
  • Conduct 5S training and assessments to promote workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Track and assist in the certification and re-certification of line operators.
  • Document job certifications and maintain records for compliance.
  • Provide on-the-job training to line operators as requested.
  • Monitor and track OBA and solder defects to enhance quality control.
  • Maintain and organize the Training Lab and equipment for optimal use.
  • Initiate and implement two Kaizen projects each month to drive continuous improvement.

Must-Have:

  • Diploma or Graduate between 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations and processes
  • Experience in quality control standards and testing procedures
  • Ability to train and mentor colleagues on assembly and inspection tasks
  • Familiarity with 5S methodology and continuous improvement practices
  • Experience in documentation and certification of operational processes
  • Experience with waste disposal and machinery maintenance

Nice-To-Have:

  • Understanding of SMT and RFM assembly technologies
  • Proficiency in tracking and managing solder defects
  • Capability to initiate and lead Kaizen events
  • Basic project management skills to handle training and development initiatives
