You will ensure that every project starts with a strong foundation—helping us increase win rates, reduce risks, and deliver predictable project outcomes.
In this central position, you connect engineering, commercial teams, and corporate disciplines to shape high‑quality bids and project preparations. You streamline methodologies, improve tools and templates, and support strategic decision‑making. This role reports to the Director Mining and is based in Kinderdijk.
In this role, you:
Lead the preparation of bids and project strategies, including structuring, pricing logic, and cost estimates.
Ensure consistent calculation methods, clear assumptions, and full compliance with internal sales and governance processes.
Coordinate closely with engineering, design, estimation, commercial teams, and corporate functions such as Legal, Finance, Compliance, Tax, and Insurance.
Review tender documents, technical submissions, and contractual conditions to assess risks and ensure completeness.
Integrate multi‑disciplinary input into coherent proposals and risk assessments.
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, and ensure mitigation plans are documented and followed through.
Support project teams during execution by reviewing major changes, claims, and commercial clarifications.
Capture lessons learned and continuously improve templates, workflows, and best practices.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, monitor stage‑gate progress, and support decision‑making with reliable pipeline insights.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Additional certification in project, commercial, or contract management is a plus.
Experience in commercial, tendering, or project preparation roles within mining, offshore, construction, or capital‑equipment environments.
Operational experience in capital equipment project execution.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills (engineering, legal, finance, risk).
Skilled in project structuring, estimation, and understanding contractual and commercial principles.
Able to align stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and work effectively under tender pressure.
Affinity with technical tender work is essential.
Structured, analytical, and detail‑oriented, with strong documentation and workflow discipline.
Salary depending on experience, placed within either our medior range (€4,374–€5,700) or senior range (€5,700–€8,565) +
8% holiday allowance
