Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Technical Support Specialist – USA (Applications & Integration) plays a critical role in supporting Linx’s growing presence in the United States. This position provides advanced technical support across Linx coding and marking technologies, with a strong focus on customer applications, communications, and system integration. This is a remote-based role within the United States.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Providing advanced technical support for CIJ, IJ, TTO, and Laser systems.
Diagnosing complex hardware, software, ink, and application issues.
Supporting customer integrations including PLCs, I/O, RS232, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
Acting as an escalation point for customers and field teams.
Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Global Technical Support.
Creating andmaintainingtechnical documentation and knowledge articles.
Travel & Working Conditions
This is a remote role with domestic and international travel up to approximately 25%. Travel is typically planned monthly and may include up to one week per month away from home.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Experience in advanced technical support in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Demonstratedexperience with applications and system integration.
Experience resolving complex technical escalations.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Must be within commutable distance from Grand Rapids, MI
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with coding and marking equipment (CIJ, IJ, TTO, Laser).
Knowledge of industrial automation environments and plant systems.
Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools and CRM or ticketing systems.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $52,200 - $91,400 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
