The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing first- and second-level technical support to customers and end users, ensuring product and service issues are accurately documented, investigated, and resolved. The role also supports customer training, service-related activities, and collaboration with Sales and Product Marketing to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

This position reports to the Technical Service Manager, part of the Technical Support Team in the Netherlands, and will be an on-site role in our office in Milan.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Receive and respond to technical support requests by telephone and email, providing first- and second-level support and training to end users.
• Document complaints and product failures in accordance with the Masimo Quality System, and initiate repair or replacement of failed or defective products.
• Act as the customer advocate for service-related matters, maintaining service account activities and following issues through to closure.
• Provide technical support to the Sales team and communicate field feedback, product suggestions, improvements, and enhancements to Product Marketing.
• Maintain troubleshooting knowledge and training materials, follow Technical Bulletins, identify customer training needs, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Review technical training and user-interface documentation and contribute to improvements in Technical Support processes and procedures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
• Demonstrated hands-on technical skills and experience performing detailed technical work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency with PC-based systems and applications.
• Fluent Italian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Technical support or service experience within the medical device, healthcare, or related technology industry.
• Customer or end-user technical training and troubleshooting knowledge-base development.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis to support customer sites, product research, and service activities.Ability to lift, move, or carry tools and equipment up to 20 kg on an occasional basis.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Base salary and level of employment

This role is classified under the applicable CCNL, which defines minimum terms, job classification, and baseline progression frameworks. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is €28,000 - €36,000, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role-related competencies.

This job is also eligible for bonus. The target earnings are determined as a percentage of annual base salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
