What's the role?

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in mobile and embedded SDK application development who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise and customer success. In this critical role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers, helping them unlock maximum value from HERE’s industry‑leading location products and services across the entire lifecycle, including evaluation, production, and optimization.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:

• Support mobile and embedded SDK implementations across Android, iOS, and Flutter
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues using stack traces, logs, and debugging tools
• Partner with customers to troubleshoot integrations involving APIs, SDKs, and cloud services
• Analyze root causes and drive permanent solutions for high-impact technical challenges
• Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and support teams
• Manage multiple priorities and customer engagements in a fast-paced environment

Who are you?

You are a problem-solver with strong technical depth and a customer-focused mindset, comfortable navigating complex technical environments while communicating clearly with diverse audiences. You bring:

• Experience working with mobile applications, cloud services, and APIs (e.g., REST, SDKs, Java)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mobile platforms and backend integrations
• Knowledge of mapping technologies such as geocoding, routing, navigation, and positioning
• Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and communicate solutions effectively
• Experience working in customer-facing or cross-functional environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in dynamic environments
• Accountability and ownership to drive tasks through completion

Actual compensation will be based on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, subject to company and individual performance. You will join a collaborative technical support team focused on enabling customers to successfully adopt and scale HERE’s location platform, working closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
