Client: Confidential. A global leader in solar inverter and energy storage technology, expanding its residential business in Thailand.
Location: Rama III / Bangna, Bangkok, Thailand
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar
Experience Level: Minimum 3 years
About the Role
Our client is a leading international manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems, now scaling their residential PV and storage business in Thailand. They are hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join their Bangkok team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining system design, pre-sales technical support, and post-sales service. You will be the technical bridge between customers, the commercial team, and headquarters.
What You'll Do
Pre-Sales & Technical Design
- Provide first-line technical support to customers on-site and via service calls within an allocated area.
- Design residential solar PV and storage systems using the company's proprietary design software and industry-standard third-party tools.
- Deliver technical presentations and support account managers in closing deals.
Training & Documentation
- Deliver technical training sessions to customers and internal colleagues, explaining product technology and application details.
- Produce technical procedures, specifications, and presentations in Thai, localising source materials from headquarters.
Post-Sales & Service
- Troubleshoot technical issues on new and existing residential solar installations.
- Handle inbound service calls and manage resolution end to end.
- Take on other technical responsibilities as allocated by the supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the solar industry.
- Background in electrical engineering, solar technology, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with residential PV systems. Battery storage or hybrid system experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with solar design software and major inverter brands.
- Strong client-facing communication skills in Thai. Working English to engage with headquarters materials.
- Comfortable travelling within the allocated service area.
Why Join
- Work with one of the world's leading names in solar inverter and energy storage technology.
- Broad scope across design, sales support, training, and service. Not a siloed role.
- On-site in Bangkok with a growing team and direct exposure to HQ product expertise.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
