W e are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Technology team. The Technical Support Analyst Intern will provide first-line technical support to end-users experiencing IT issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems. This Intern will also assist in resolving help desk tickets efficiently and escalate more complex issues to higher-level technicians.
Pay: $15/hour
Duration: 6 months, full-time with 40 hours per week expected
Location: On-site in our Provo, UT office
Responsibilities
Respond to help desk tickets via email, phone, and online portals.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT hardware and software issues.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Assist with setting up new employee workstations and basic IT configurations.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
Familiarity with troubleshooting common IT hardware and peripheral issues (printers, routers, etc.).
Ability to follow standard procedures and provide clear technical instructions to non-technical users.
Ability to analyze simple IT problems and provide clear resolutions.
Effective communication skills to guide users through troubleshooting steps via phone, email, or chat.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks.
A+ certification a plus but not required.
