The Zuora Technical Support Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing the company’s subscription billing operations within the Zuora platform. This role will work closely with Finance, Billing, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into system configurations, test and implement changes, and ensure accurate and timely billing processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a desire to learn new systems quickly. The role requires balancing independent work with collaborative effort and ensuring system solutions keep pace with evolving business requirements as the organization expands into new markets.

This role is based out of our Hyderabad, India office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite, with the option to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and maintain Zuora billing and subscription management systems daily.
  • Translate business requirements into Zuora configurations and workflow enhancements.
  • Configure and optimize product catalogs, rate plans, billing rules, and invoice settings.
  • Troubleshoot billing issues, resolve system errors, and ensure high data quality.
  • Collaborate with users to minimize disruptions and drive system adoption.
  • Document standard billing processes, configurations, and recurring issues.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc billing or revenue reports.
  • Participate in testing and implementation of system changes tied to new business initiatives.

  • Invoice Accuracy Rate— Percentage of invoices generated without errors.
  • Billing Dispute Rate— Number of customer billing disputes per billing cycle.
  • Data Quality Score— Accuracy and completeness of billing and subscription data.
  • On‑Time Billing Completion— Percentage of billing runs completed on schedule.
  • Issue Resolution Time— Average time required to resolve billing issues.
  • Adoption of Zuora Features— Measured by team usage and reductions in manual work.
  • Reporting Accuracy and Timeliness— Error-free reports delivered on time.
  • Documentation Completeness— All processes and system configurations kept current.

Who You Are

  • 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise billing, subscription management, or financial systems development.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Zuora platform experience, including Zuora Billing and advanced configurations (Payments, Revenue, CPQ a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex subscription billing implementations in a SaaS or recurring‑revenue environment.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Zuora Billing, Zuora CPQ, or other subscription billing tools.
  • Advanced SQL skills for billing reconciliation and analysis.
  • Experience integrating Zuora with CRM or financial systems.
  • Background in SaaS billing or subscription-based revenue operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle JDE.
  • Knowledge of automation tools or scripting languages.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
