Ensure the maintenance database is updated, accurate & fit for purpose as well as managed in line with internal and external requirements (OVMSA, Class, Flag, etc)
Monitor and ensure compliance with planned maintenance schedule with proper evidences of job done
Carry out analysis of the data to drive maintenance decisions as well as update & management of critical stock on board of vessels
Facilitate FME(C)A studies on vessel equipment, including defining the maintenance and stock control methods
Analyse reliability and failure data, recommend & provide corrective actions
Manage the company condition-based maintenance program
Perform and facilitate root cause analysis investigations
Compile detailed Dry-Docking specification for assigned vessels
Prepare and submit AFE for assigned CAPEX projects
Follow up fulfillment of assigned CAPEX projects to complete defined scope of work
Manage assigned team, develop talent to ensure continuous improvement
Direct and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives of crew of assigned vessels by managing performance, developing, and motivating the crew so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.
To ensure compliance where appropriate with the Company's procedures and policies in compliance with ISO 45001:2018, 14001:2015 9001:2015 and ISM & ISPS requirements
Ensure that assigned vessels & crew performance adhere to the OVMSA requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Unlimited STCW ’95 Chief Engineer’s license (Motor) seagoing vessels
Engineering degree/diploma in mechanical/electromechanical engineering
CAT 1 Vibration analysis/reliability qualification (CAT 2 Preferred), optional
Minimum Experience
Knowledge and working experience of marine planned maintenance systems (ABS Nautical Systems preferred)
Experience of reliability engineering in a marine environment min 5 years
Working experience of condition-based maintenance techniques
Experience in AHTS/Offshore Supply/Dive Support/Offshore Construction Vessels
Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
