In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering best practice recovery at work services, you’ll provide technical leadership and support across the Injury & Health Solutions team to ensure compliance with legislation and SIRA standards, while driving continuous improvement in return to work outcomes.


This role will see you guide and mentor team members, coordinate external rehabilitation providers, and lead training initiatives that build capability and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. You’ll contribute to strategic reviews, claims clinics, and stakeholder education, while developing your expertise in injury management, legislative compliance, and risk mitigation. You will pioneer new approaches to recovery at work service delivery in a complex, self-insured and Treasury Managed Fund environment, where collaboration, compliance and innovation are key to success.

About you

Your leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in injury and claims management, formed across public sector, insurance, or health-related industries, will see you navigate complex challenges, enhance service delivery, and reduce claims costs and premiums.

You're recognised as a resilient and courageous leader, skilled at coaching teams, managing performance, and driving customer-focused outcomes, and experienced in self-insurance portfolio management, legislative compliance, and operational service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will bring at least 10 years of experience in claims and injury management, including specific expertise in leading a self-insurance portfolio and managing claims and premiums, along with tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
