Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Technical Specialist Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join the Multi-Program Engineering team in Long Beach, California.
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organizations. The Technical Specialist Engineer will have a process centric mindset and can drive the collaboration and change agent culture. Candidate will focus on working directly with the Engineering Managers and Subject Matter Experts to implement and improve BCA and BGS processes, helping to enable SoCal Multi-Program Engineering to meet the organizational goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist Safety & Airworthiness (SAW/CERT) managers with Engineering-Unit Member (E-UM) and Design Approval Engineer (DAE) appointments, expansions, modification, reinstatement, and maintenance activities.
Track the process change requests to ensure the requirements are followed.
Provide assistance in the use of processes and process documentation.
Coordinate and conduct reviews and assessments of business process documentation, as required.
Collect, analyze, and validate engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.
Ensure policy compliance; perform quality reviews and other control activities.
Develop and deploy organizational plans and strategies.
Organize, prioritize and pay attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.
Work with SMEs to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
Assist organization’s RIM focal.
Work Authorization Statement:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
LEVEL 4: 7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Agile knowledge is highly desirable
Knowledge with Engineering life cycle activities, tools and processes
Experience with RIM requirements
Understanding of regulatory or industry standard compliance frameworks
Experience in conducting training
Experience in process analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills including communication with executives and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) across the enterprise
Attention to detail, be self-motivated, have ability to make decisions and take actions independently to remove roadblocks

Pay Range Experienced (Level 3): $90,950 - $123,050
Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $108,800 - $147,200
