The UX Lead will oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle of a premier web and mobile application suite tailored for High-Net-Worth-Individual (HNWI) customers. You will manage the design process from initial discovery and research through to wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and developer hand-off.

  • Client Collaboration: Conduct co-creation workshops, design sprints, and validation sessions with client-side Product Owners, business SMEs, and technical architects.
  • Design System Ownership: Establish, scale, and maintain a robust, accessible, and multi-platform design system (components, typography, iconography, and guidelines) to ensure consistency across web and native mobile apps.
  • Information Architecture: Design clear user flows, detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and navigation models to communicate complex layouts clearly.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the Business Analyst team to translate functional user stories into validated screens, and collaborate with frontend developers to ensure perfect design implementation and micro-interactions.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and direction to junior designers or offshore design resources supporting the program.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 8+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer, with at least 3+ years leading design teams or projects, ideally in private banking, wealth management, or high-end fintech solutions.
  • Portfolio: A strong, comprehensive portfolio showcasing user-centered design processes, complex system wireframing, high-fidelity UI work, and mobile-first implementations.
  • Design Tooling: Mastery of industry-standard collaborative design tools and design system management platforms.
  • Agile Integration: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating in parallel with development sprints (Dual-track Agile preferred).
  • Tech Literacy: Excellent understanding of modern frontend development capabilities and constraints (mobile and web framework layouts, native mobile design guidelines).
  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to confidently present design decisions to senior stakeholders.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French.
