Job Summary

App Architect:

  • Lead application discovery, assessment, and cloud migration workshops.
  • Analyze application architecture, dependencies, integrations, databases, and infrastructure components.
  • Perform 6R assessments (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, Retain) and recommend migration strategies.
  • Define target-state cloud architecture for Java and .NET applications.
  • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Drive application modernization initiatives, including microservices and API-led architectures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams.
  • Identify migration risks, dependencies, technical debt, and remediation plans.
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide governance throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Support migration planning, cutover activities, production readiness reviews, and hypercare support.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance during implementation.
