Job Summary

As a Technical Specialist, you will lead a team of developers in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance software systems to support the organization’s application strategy using software engineering best practices. Beyond technical expertise, you will also serve as a change leader, guiding teams through adopting new tools, technologies, and workflows to improve application development and deployment.

This position requires extensive hands-on system design and coding experience, as well as the development of modern applications using GoLang technologies.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their application needs, ensure scalability, and foster a culture of innovation and learning within the development team and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud applications using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Lambda Triggers.
• Utilize AWS S2/S3 and EC2 for efficient data storage and computing.
• Write and debug applications using high-level programming languages such as GoLang.
• Implement and manage AWS APIs, CLI, and SDKs for application development.
• Ensure applications are secure by coding essential security measures.
• Use continuous integration and distribution pipelines to deploy applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

Skill Requirements

• Strong development experience in AWS Step Functions, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Lambda Triggers, AWS S2/S3, and EC2.
• Expertise in high-level programming language such as GoLang.
• Proven skills in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud applications.
• Proficiency in AWS API, CLI, and SDKs for writing applications.
• In-depth knowledge of key features of AWS Cloud Service Providers.
• Ability to use continuous integration and distribution pipelines to deploy applications.
• Ability to code to implement essential security measures.
• Strong analytical, problem-determination, and resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and oral.
