Our Research and Development team has been growing steadily and to reinforce it further we are looking for a strong technical professional to work on Altiplano, Nokia’s cloud native Fixed Access Domain Controller.

Altiplano virtualizes the management and network functions from the network elements to operators cloud and further improves network operations efficiency by abstracting and automating the underlying multivendor, multi-technology Fixed Access networks.

• Application product E2E system testing, including PON technologies with a quality focus on Open Source Kubernetes, RHEL OpenShift, and public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Design and Specification review and in-depth knowledge on SDLC process.
• Test Plan and Test case preparation, review with extensive scenarios including boundary condition and negative scenarios.
• Test Automation using Robot Framework, Python, scripting.
• Initiate and contribute towards performance improvements and initiatives.
• Responsible for product deliverables with high quality.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Product Management, Architect, Development, Test teams and project management to foster a team environment.

Must Have Skills

• Masters/bachelor's degree in computers/communication/electrical/electronic engineering
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Application Product E2E system Testing & Quality focus on Open Source K8s, RHEL OpenShift and Public clouds (AWS / Azure / Google), debugging - Manual and Automation testing EMS / NMS / Networking domains.
• In depth knowledge on Microservices, Kubernetes, Container runtime, Elastic search, CI/CD, Virtualization, SDN/NFV, FCAPS, SNMP, Netconf/Yang, Public Cloud technologies, RHEL OpenShift and etc.
• Telecom testing profile with L2/L3 exposure and knowledge on PON technologies (optical components such as OLTs, ONTs/ONUs, splitters), Network elements.
• Familiarity with Testing, Debugging and Quality Engineering principles.
• Experience in Automation (Robot Framework, Python, scripting, Selenium).
• Potential and willingness to work as an Individual contributor with quality focus.
• Good technical knowledge to work with team and ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Contribution on challenging tasks and customer queries.
• Passion to explore and work on the new technologies.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle / software Test lifecycle.

• Good understanding on security tools and testing.
• Has experience in and is passionate about identifying testing improvements.
• Good understanding of Software Architecture / Design.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
