This role combines advanced technical expertise with strong customer engagement to deliver tailored support, training, and mentoring to users of Seequent‘s geoscience solutions for mining. Your responsibilities will include nurturing client relationships from trial stages through to advanced use, ensuring seamless support and fostering customer satisfaction. Collaboration with global technical leads, and development teams is central to promoting best-practice workflows, improving solutions, and supporting the commercial growth of Seequent’s software suite. This is a hands-on role requiring travel within the region, providing opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and innovative company focused on geoscience excellence.
Duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Share expert-level product knowledge, workflows, and integrated solutions with new and existing users in the mining sector, ensuring effective use of Seequent’s geoscience tools.
- Maintain a significant knowledge, competence and capability across the Seequent portfolio.
- Collaborate with sales teams, including Account Managers and Inside Sales, to advance opportunities by conducting product demonstrations, understanding client workflows, setting up trials, and creating implementation plans to maximise client success.
- Be a collaborative team player, working closely with the broader technical team both regionally and globally. Support the growth and success of Technical Solutions across key markets, geographies, and industry sectors, while fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and contributing to strategic business objectives.
- Use Seequent’s information platforms to gain insights into clients’ portfolios, organisation structures, and the diversity of users within their operations, enabling targeted and proactive customer support.
- Provide remote technical support and guidance, working through specific examples with users and developing tailored solutions for complex challenges.
- Proactively reach out to clients to conduct health checks, promote new software releases, and embed new features and best practices in their workflows.
- Ensure that client accounts are accurately maintained in CRM systems, recording interactions such as health check outcomes, software upgrades, and training activities to keep all account information current and accessible to the team.
- Deliver regular training sessions across the Seequent portfolio to enhance user proficiency and confidence in the software.
- Diversify your skills by collaborating with the software development teams to better understand user needs.
- Manage your day-to-day tasks autonomously, setting work priorities that align with the broader team’s and the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Geoscience qualification at Bachelor level (with a preference for Geology).
- 5+ years experience ideally in mine geology, exploration, resource estimation, or related industry.
- Confident oral and written communication in English and Arabic at a highly technical and professional level, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Experience and solid understanding in geological modelling workflows for various commodities.
- Strong skills in 3D geological modelling software, with the ability to apply software solutions to real-world mining challenges.
- Confident oral and written communication skills.
- Consistent, focused, and skilled at prioritising tasks to align with both short-term goals and strategic objectives.
Highly Desirable Experience
- Proficiency in geological modelling workflows (including long-term mineral resource estimation and short-term grade control workflows).
- Experience in database management for exploration or grade control.
- Experience in Leapfrog, Edge, Central, MX Deposit, and / or Imago would be advantageous.
- Experience working in software sales or in a technical role supporting commercial software projects, including product testing and customer-focused solution development.
