We’re looking for a Technical Solutions Manager who’s excited to connect people, technology, and big ideas to help shape the future of HR at Microsoft.
Supporting the HR Core Program Solution Management team, you’ll work at the intersection of People Operations, business, and engineering, transforming complex HR Core needs into thoughtful, scalable solutions. You’ll take ideas from concept to execution by translating business requirements into actionable plans, coordinating testing and deployment readiness, and bringing the right people together to move solutions forward.
You’ll be at the heart of Employee Central (HR Core) enhancements, helping triage and prioritize Rhythm of Business requests, partnering with engineering to determine the best technical path forward, and navigating solutions that may require deeper configuration or expanded resources. You’ll also help drive privacy review readiness, ensuring enhancements meet compliance expectations while enabling efficient, scalable operations.

Evaluate launch risks for HR Core solutions, create mitigation plans, and partner with engineering and business teams to determine the best path forward.
Translate stakeholder and HR Core requirements into actionable goals, success measures, and launch plans that move solutions from concept to release.
Manage a portfolio of HR Core enhancements and backlog requests, build launch plans, and keep cross-functional teams aligned and ready for delivery.
Gather feedback, monitor success after launch, and identify opportunities to improve solutions, processes, and the overall user experience.
Use data and stakeholder insights to simplify processes, remove roadblocks, strengthen privacy and compliance, and help deliver smarter, more scalable solutions.
Launch Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
