Within our Public Transport business, we deliver mission-critical communication solutions for some of Europe's largest railway operators. As a Technical Solution Manager (all genders) you will take ownership of the technical delivery and continuous evolution a major Railway Project for France. The role combines technical ownership, customer engagement, project-wide coordination, and engineering team development in an international environment.
Key Tasks
  • Own and steer the overall technical solution for an ongoing programme with a leading railway infrastructure manager in France throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and achievement of project milestones.
  • Act as the primary technical interface between the client, project management, engineering teams, development organisations, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective technical communication, alignment, and decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and continuously improve the program’s engineering organisation, collaboration model, and cross-functional ways of working to increase delivery effectiveness, transparency, and scalability.
  • Coordinate engineering, software development, system integration, acceptance, commissioning, migration, and change implementation activities while proactively managing technical risks, dependencies, milestones and project costs.
  • Drive technical problem solving across the project and actively support engineering teams in the execution of critical work packages to ensure project success.
  • Foster continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence while helping to shape future public transport projects in France.

Key Qualifications
  • University degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Several years of experience with technical ownership of complex IT, telecommunications, railway, or mission-critical infrastructure projects, including responsibility for customer-facing delivery and engineering execution, ideally with know-how in GSM-R, FRMCS or railway communication systems.
  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving technical project execution in international customer environments.
  • Strong understanding of software-intensive systems, system security, system integration, deployment, and operational environments.
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, and distributed engineering organisations across multiple countries.
  • Strong sense of technical ownership combined with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset.
  • You enjoy working hands-on with complex technical systems and can support engineering teams with technical analysis, troubleshooting, integration, implementation, or coordination activities when needed.
  • Fluent French and English are mandatory, German is considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to Travel between Paris and Vienna up to 30%.
  • Working location can be also Paris.

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 54,503 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
