We are looking for a Technical Consultant to play an integral role within Upland’s Professional Services organization. The Technical Consultant will work with customers and the Professional Services team to integrate and configure custom solutions to meet our customer’s unique needs. This role will appeal to someone who pays attention to detail, likes to interact with people and is a self-starter with impeccable problem-solving skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Technical analysis, design, functional requirements scoping and documentation of prospective solutions
  • Configuration, development and implementation of demonstrations, proof of concepts and final solutions.
  • Technical product and solution training.
  • Ad hoc solution support services
  • Be a stellar project management resource in documenting work done for a customer and following internal processes and procedures.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple client engagements.
  • Track and record time and contributions across milestones for project completion or consultancy time spent.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB Script, XML, JSON SQL, C#, JavaScript, NodeJS / Node-RED Web page design, Web interface-based solutions
  • Proven ability in being self-motivated with excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-centric problem solver with the ability to operate effectively, even in areas of uncertainty or ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to ask effective questions.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, respond to needs quickly and effectively, adapt to change.
  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with precise attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work with sales, customer success, consulting, and support in a dynamic and innovative company environment.
  • Experience with informational retrieval, data extraction, and analytics-based solutions is preferred.
  • Must be Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

Desired Skills:

  • At least 2 years consulting
  • UI design certification or related on-the-job experience
  • Be happy to travel if required
