Job Description

Kemin Food Technologies is seeking a talented Technical Service Analyst who will be responsible for the technical and scientific support for the regional marketing and sales teams regarding the specialty meat portfolio, specifically yield and quality enhancing functional proteins used within the food market. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will work in close collaboration with the regional protein sales teams for the Kemin Food Technologies business units.

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in Mexico.

Responsibilities

  • Design and review application trials with a focus on value added meat, poultry, and seafood;
  • Maintain a central database of key knowledge around specialty protein products and their application by maintaining strong relationships and communication channels with local Sales, Technical Services, and Customer Laboratory Services teams;
  • Translate research findings (internal trials, field experiences) to technical, sales and marketing tools (i.e. technical literature, case studies) together with Power Platform Leader;
  • Translate relevant field issues and customer challenges into solutions to support our local sales, technical, and marketing teams and ultimately our customers;
  • Provide technical training and support to regional team members;
  • Create presentations for customers, symposia and workshops and represent Kemin in key trade shows and industry events;
  • Work with operations teams to monitor and work out technical issues;
  • Support R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams where needed by collecting technical information and trial results;
  • Be involved in preparation and execution of regional strategic plan;
  • Drive communication and exchange of experiences throughout an internal network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Meat Science, Food Science and Engineering or related discipline
  • 2 - 3 years of related work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in formulation and processing of protein products, with exposure to commercial production practices;
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to persuade, encourage, motivate, and read communication styles of team members;
  • Must be proficient in English and Spanish.
