We are looking for a motivated Lab Technician or Senior Lab Technician with experience in materials testing—ideally in material science, polymer chemistry. In this role, you will support product testing, material characterization, troubleshooting, and product adjustments. You will work closely with the Technical Support team and take responsibility for assigned products and documentation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform product tests and material characterization according to internal, customer, and industry standards.

  • Take ownership of assigned products and maintain all related technical documentation (e.g., specifications, Technical Data Sheets, change records).

  • Support root-cause analysis for customer complaints and contribute technical input for solutions.

  • Carry out product adjustments, including mixing, formulation changes, and preparation of test samples based on customer needs.

  • Assist with localization projects and second-sourcing activities by testing and evaluating alternative materials.

  • Document all lab work, tests, formulations, and project activities according to internal guidelines.

  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Sales on technical topics and continuous product improvement.

Education & Experience

  • Completed education as a Lab Technician, Chemistry Technician, Materials Laboratory Technician, or equivalent. (A technical degree is an advantage for Senior level).

  • Good communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).

  • Practical experience in materials testing, mixing, and formulation work.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with accurate documentation habits.
