At Lely, we believe in achieving a sustainable, profitable and agreeable future for dairy farmers by combining robotisation, engineering and farming expertise.
It all started in 1948 with a dream cherished by two brothers in Maassluis, and ever since, we have worked to become innovative market leaders in automated systems for dairy farmers across the globe. With a team of 2,800 professional specialists, we work constantly to bring about revolutionary solutions for the agro industry. We are based at our Maassluis Campus, a building which features the highest sustainability performance possible, not just in the Netherlands, but on a global scale. Our overall objective: making dairy farming interesting, also for the coming generations.
Do you want to influence the next generation of milking robots that help farmers around the world every day? Within Technical Service Support, you will have the opportunity to contribute to solutions that are designed not only for today, but to remain reliable, maintainable, and serviceable for years to come. As part of the Long Term Impact team, you play an important role in the continued development of our Milking portfolio, with a strong focus on the Lely Astronaut.
In this role, you will tackle complex technical challenges with a long term perspective. You investigate how products perform throughout their entire lifecycle and use insights from data, service operations, and field experience to identify opportunities for future improvements.
While you are not directly involved in designing or building the milking robot itself, you have a significant influence on how it is developed, maintained, and supported worldwide. When recurring technical issues, maintenance challenges, or field trends reveal opportunities for improvement, you identify the root causes and translate your findings into clear recommendations for product development teams.
Working closely with engineers, product developers, and service teams, you help ensure that new innovations are not only technologically advanced, but also reliable, maintainable, and scalable throughout their lifecycle. The impact of your work can ultimately be seen in thousands of milking robots used by farmers around the globe every day.
You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and naturally look beyond today's solution. You are able to balance different perspectives and translate real-world insights into improvements that create lasting value for products, customers, and service organizations.
Working at Lely means contributing to sustainable progress within one of the most innovative organizations in the Netherlands. You help future-proof the agricultural sector, and we ensure you have the space, resources, and support to do so.
Recruitment and selection agencies, consultancy firms, and or employment agencies
We appreciate the interest, but we recruit all our candidates directly. We understand that intermediaries may want to propose candidates for our roles and contribute to our ambitions, but this is not how our recruitment process is set up. This means that all unsolicited profiles submitted for Lely vacancies will be treated as direct applications.

Something we do since 1948, in this year brothers Cornelis en Arij van der Lely introduced the finger wheel rake to the market. One of our first inventions that made a substantial change in the traditional way of working on the farm. There were many more innovations with only one purpose making agrarian life easier and working together for a sustainable, profitable and enjoyable future in the agricultural sector.
