The Opportunity

For our Abbott CoreDiagnostics Division in Abbott Laboratories in Serbiawe are looking for a talented, well-motivated person to join our field support team as a Technical ServiceSpecialist.

TheTechnical ServiceSpecialist is responsible for providing level two support to our customer base – handling installations, complex repairs, longer duration instrumenthardwareor software upgrades and providing basictrainingto customers andAbbottAmbassadors.

What You'll do

• Perform new customers and laboratory site inspectionsfor new contract / tenderpreparations and designfor new installations.

• Provide level two service (complex service interventions requiring more than four hours of labor).

• Installationof instruments, AbbottLink, and automation

• Perform IQOQ ( InstallationQualification Operation Qualification) procedures during and after installation.

• Assist with customer business reviews

• Schedule, perform and document hardwareand software updates(TSBs) requiring more than 2 hours of labor time.

• Deliver basic customer operator introductory trainingspost install or post hardwareor software upgrade

Required qualifications and background:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineeringdegree in medical / electrical / mechanical or medical technology is preferred.

• Excellent communicationskills.

• Very good command of Englishand Serbian is a must.

• More than 2 years of experience as Technical ServiceSpecialist and or a proven track record in a similar position, supported by managementand customer references.

• Successful engagement with customers, specifically key stakeholders and lab staff.

• Excellent product and industry knowledge

• Excellent experience and process skills of the business functions service delivery.

• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.

• Technical expert for product line responsibility.

• Excellent experience in use of analyticaltools and software.
