Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a T echnical Sales Support Representative (Inside Sales) for qPCR content and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you will drive sales growth for the qPCR Content portfolio, including TaqMan Assays and related qPCR/dPCR products, through virtual and digital channels. You will build strong customer relationships across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical, and industrial markets, using a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and deliver optimal solutions. Working collaboratively, you will contribute to strategic sales execution and business success.

A Day in the Life:
Engage with customers virtually to promote and sell qPCR content products and services. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals. Maintain and grow customer relationships using CRM tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. Continuously build technical and product knowledge to effectively support customer inquiries and identify opportunities.

  • Drive sales of qPCR content products through inside sales channels
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across multiple sectors
  • Use consultative selling techniques to identify and address customer needs
  • Manage sales activities and customer data within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business objectives
  • Participate in strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives
  • Engage in continuous learning to maintain product and market expertise

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or laboratory/research experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with scientific products or instruments preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to develop and maintain deep technical and product knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel 10–25% as required
  • Foreign language skills may be required depending on region
  • Valid driver’s license
