Siemens are seeking a technically skilled and commercially focused Building Automation Technical Sales Support Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly Siemens products, and experience in technical estimating, sales support and lifecycle services.

You will play a key role in supporting our sales and project delivery teams by developing accurate, commercially viable estimates, quotations and proposals for BMS service projects, refurbishments, fit-outs, system upgrades and lifecycle service opportunities. Working closely with customers, suppliers, engineering, operations and project delivery teams, you will help develop effective technical solutions that meet customer requirements while achieving business profitability targets.

You will provide technical expertise across Siemens BMS products, service migration strategies and lifecycle services, coordinating the collection and analysis of site, asset and operational information to support accurate estimating and solution development.

You will review customer requirements, technical specifications and scopes of work to determine labour, materials, resources and subcontractor requirements. This will include preparing cost estimates, quotations and proposals, obtaining supplier pricing, supporting tender submissions and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop competitive pricing strategies.

The role will also involve identifying technical, commercial and operational risks, ensuring compliance with company governance and contractual requirements, and maintaining estimating tools, pricing databases and historical cost information. You will monitor estimated costs against actual project outcomes, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support effective handover from sales and estimation to project delivery.

Success in this role will require the ability to manage multiple estimating activities, balance competing priorities and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work within customer and business deadlines.

You will bring experience in building automation, BMS, HVAC controls or a related technical services environment, together with a sound understanding of Siemens systems and associated service offerings. Your background will ideally include technical estimating, tender preparation, quotation development or technical sales support.

You will combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical documentation and translate customer requirements into practical, cost-effective solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will be essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and manage competing deadlines.

This is an opportunity to play an important role in the growth and success of our building automation services business. You will work across a diverse range of BMS service and project opportunities, helping deliver solutions that improve system performance, support lifecycle management and provide long-term value to customers.

If you have a passion for building automation, strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset, we encourage you to apply.
