HEICO is currently recruiting a Technical Sales Support Coordinator for its New Product Development Group (NPDG), located in Tampa, FL.

Overview

The Technical Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization, and maintenance of PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) evaluation packages, as well as the research, collection, and compilation of technical data required for the creation and maintenance of HEICO Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs). This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Management teams by gathering, analyzing, and organizing technical documentation required to support PMA part evaluations, IPC development, and customer inquiries.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail, strong document management skills, and the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple technical and cross-functional sources. Success in this role requires a highly organized individual who can work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure accuracy and completeness in all evaluation package submissions.

Qualifications

Core Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive PMA evaluation packages by collecting, organizing, and compiling information from various technical and commercial sources.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Product Management, and other cross-functional departments to gather, validate, and clarify information required for PMA evaluation packages and IPC documentation, including the shipping and tracking of sample parts needed to support package submissions.
  • Ensure evaluation packages contain the latest approved revisions of drawings, reports, and supporting documentation while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Maintain an organized repository of completed PMA evaluation packages, ensuring all package documentation is complete, properly filed, and easily accessible for internal and customer-related inquiries.
  • Research, collect, verify, and organize technical information required for the development and maintenance of HEICO Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs), ensuring PMA part data is accurate, complete, and aligned with engineering documentation.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro and/or Foxit PDF Editor.
  • Experience compiling and organizing documentation from multiple technical sources.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and document review skills, with the ability to verify technical information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, and technical concepts while adapting to changing business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering Technology, Aviation, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Aviation-related experience and familiarity with aircraft technical documentation.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of business calendar as needed to support industry events and other business-related activities.
