DESCRIPTION
Join our Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (CMD) division at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Technical Sales Specialist- TEA (Trace Element Analysis i.e ICP, ICPMS), where you'll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise in our advanced analytical instrumentation portfolio. You'll represent our cutting-edge TEA systems, working closely with customers to understand their analytical challenges and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
As a technical advisor, you will:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, distributors, and strategic partners to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic market intelligence to the commercial team.
• You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical support to implement sales strategy, serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal development, technical validation, negotiation support, and successful handover for implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
How you will get here:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemistry or equivalent
• Technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in ICP and ICPMS including sample preparation and associated workflows. Minimum 5 years or more work experience using ICP/ ICPMS.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Demonstrated success in technical activities i.e coordinating issue resolution, ensuring customer success and long-term account growth.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Travel requirements of 25-50% within assigned territory
• Proficiency in English required, additional languages valued
