Job Description

The Role - The Role is for a Technical Sales Specialist at our busy HQ in Dublin, Ireland. It will suit an experienced sales hungry candidate with the ability to seek out opportunities where others may not see them.

Experience

At least 5 years experience in the AV Systems integration industry would be desirable. Proven track record of converting sales leads into opportunities and large projects. Ability to foster strong lasting relationships with clients. Experience in successful bid-writing and responding to RFT's a distinct advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with non-regular customers and key accounts non project requirements
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • Schedule sales activity
  • Promote the company’s Managed Services offering to new and existing clients
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
  • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities in conjunction with your colleagues
  • Make sales calls to new prospects and existing clients
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Negotiate with clients to close sales and contracts
  • Develop sales proposals
  • Consult with the engineering team for the specification of installations and budgets
  • Prepare and present sales and services contracts
  • Conduct product training
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Follow up on sales activity
  • Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • Carry out market research and surveys
  • Participate in sales events

Quality Management System Responsibilities

  • Comply with Company’s Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
  • Understand and apply our quality policy statements in all aspects of your work.
  • Contribute towards achieving company company objectives
  • Ensure that the needs and requirements of company’s internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
  • Help develop and improve the company’s internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas.
