The Opportunity

BuildingPoint Canada is seeking a bilingual Technical Sales Representative to drive the growth of SketchUp and ScaffPlan solutions across Canada. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing new business opportunities, growing client relationships, and ensuring customer needs are met while driving revenue growth.

Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will help identify needs, recommend tailored solutions, resolve customer challenges, and build long-term partnerships that create value for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities across Canada.
• Develop and grow relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of customer organizations.
• Lead business reviews and strategic meetings with customers to align on goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to support profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance, track key sales metrics, and report progress to leadership.
• Maintain accurate and current sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline information in the CRM.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
• Communicate the value of SketchUp and ScaffPlan solutions to customers and prospects.

What You'll Bring

• Full professional fluency in both English and French, written and verbal.
• Experience in sales, business development, customer relationship management, or a related customer-facing function.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• A strategic, customer-first approach to understanding needs and creating value.
• A construction or sales background.
• Experience with design software, CAD, detailing, BIM, or related technical applications.
• A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. (Nice to have)
• Experience using CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and customer relationships. (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of contract negotiation, sales forecasting, and strategic account planning. (Nice to have)
• Experience with sales reporting and KPI tracking. (Nice to have)
• Understanding of market dynamics and competitor analysis. (Nice to have)
• Experience collaborating across internal teams. (Nice to have)
